About us

This website represents young people who experience transsexualism and a network of their parents, families and supporters throughout Australia

Our message to young people with transsexualism and to other parents and families like us is "You are not alone! Transsexualism is a natural example of human diversity. Young people with transsexualism are entitled to be believed about who they say they are and you are entitled to support them and to make sure they receive the proper timely diagnosis and medical treatment they need in order to live the full and fulfilling lives to which they are entitled."

We are the children and adolescents who experience transsexualism and their mothers and fathers, their brothers and sisters and other family members and loved ones who are united in supporting each other in the face of ignorance, fear and discrimination against difference or diversity in human sexual formation. We aim to help heal our world of its fear of difference so that children who experience diversity in sexual formation can live full and fulfilling lives free of culturally imposed shame and self-harm.

We aim to support, educate and give guidance. Above all, we seek to be a place where the voices of the young people who experience difference or diversity can be heard and understood.

We are committed to building a network of support throughout Australia. This network will include medical professionals (doctors, psychologists etc), teachers and schools, legal practitioners and community leaders. Please contact us and let us know if you think you can help.

Whether you are a parent, a family member, a carer, a friend or a young person experiencing the diversity in sexual formation called transsexualism - you have come to a friendly place. This is your community. Be safe and free here to know yourself, love yourself and be yourself.
